About the coach: Conrad Bernal
Conrad Bernal is a public speaking and communication coach based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He specializes in helping emerging professionals, soon-to-be professionals, and students deliver spoken and written messages more confidently, clearly, and memorably.
A Silicon Valley native, Conrad has spent the last 8 years working in tech. He has been a main stage keynote speaker at technology conferences, written and presented technical demos in-person and online for audiences of 5 - 50,000, interviewed executive board members, and taught people around the world to do the same. With more than 5 years of experience teaching presentation and speaking skills to individuals in the first few years of their career, he will help you develop the skills you need to tell your story well.
As a millennial still in the tech industry, Conrad brings a contemporary style to professional communication. His experience in global organizations has given him the opportunity to work with people from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds and English experience levels. Whether you’re just entering the workforce, still studying, or you’ve been in the corporate world for a while; he’s looking forward to helping you deliver the presentation or prose you were always capable of.
In his free time, Conrad is a musician. He writes, records, and plays live music for bands in the San Francisco Bay Area. In the office, in the studio, or on stage; he is no stranger to high pressure scenarios that require confidence and the right amount of stage presence. Many of the techniques that help him on stage – an understanding of context, preparation, practiced error recovery, and the ability to take a moment when it is required – also guide him professionally.
